Sweet Peeps Studio exists because of one extraordinary Labrador named Hunter. While every pet leaves an unforgettable mark, Hunter changed the course of our lives in ways we never expected. His story became the beginning of ours.

Hunter chose us before we chose him.
When it came time to welcome our first puppy into our family, we knew we wanted to experience raising a dog from the very beginning. The moment we met the litter, one curious little black Labrador marched right over, untied Dan's shoe, and stole our hearts. We knew immediately he was coming home with us.
For the next fourteen years, Hunter filled our lives with the kind of joy only a truly special dog can. Mornings always started with his beloved Kong, followed by long walks and every chance he could find to be in the water. He was happiest swimming at my grandparents' pool, tirelessly retrieving his football until he had completely worn himself out. If there was water nearby, Hunter was already in it.
As adventurous as he was, Hunter was just as content curled up beside us. He was the world's best nap partner and somehow always found his way into our bed in the middle of the night. As he grew older and jumping became harder, he'd quietly wake me for a little "booty boost" onto the bed before settling in, happy just to be close.
He loved car rides with the windows down, ears flapping in the breeze, and had a way of making even the simplest moments feel special.
Hunter wasn't just our dog. He was our buddy, our best friend, and the companion who inspired Sweet Peeps Studio. Because of him, a portion of every purchase now helps support rescue organizations, honoring not only Hunter's legacy, but the countless dogs still waiting to find the families who will love them just as deeply.

Mornings
Every morning began with his beloved Kong, but the unmistakable crinkle of a string cheese wrapper could pull him from anywhere in the house.
road trips
Nothing made Hunter happier than a car ride with the windows down, ears flapping in the breeze and his nose soaking in every scent.

Whether it was the beach, or my grandfather's pool, if there was water nearby, Hunter was in it.

Hunter never needed much, just to be wherever we were. Curled up beside us was always his favorite place.

When Hunter left us, we found ourselves searching for a way to keep him close. That search eventually became Sweet Peeps Studio.
Today, every keepsake is created with the hope of offering another family the same sense of comfort, connection, and remembrance that inspired us to begin this journey.
